It's my pleasure to share my love of animals with everyone I meet, especially your pets! When you’re away from home, you can trust me to take care of your furry friends with all the attention and love they deserve. Be assured that I will treat your pet as I would treat my own, with all of the playfulness they need.
I charge a flat rate of $13 per visit.
The initial meet-and-greet is free, but please note that if an additional meet-and-greet is requested it will cost $5.

Not spending as much time as you’d like to with your pet? Don’t let your busy schedule interfere with your furry friend’s well-being. Walks to a nearby park or down the street are always on-leash and come at no extra cost.
Pet Grooming
Many of my valued clients request that their pets receive baths while in my care, and I am happy to provide this service.
5-25 lbs: $5
26-50 lbs: $10
>50 lbs: $15
I understand that your pets are part of your family and I give them the same care and attention that I provide for my own animals.
How I Became a Pet Sitter
A Little About Myself
I was born and raised here in Austin and grew up with all types of animals from dogs to goats to horses and everything in between. From a young age I learned the day-to-day duties that animals require and deserve. I feel that animals are such a gift to humans, bringing love and joy to our lives day after day. Throughout my life, I’ve always known that my defining qualities are empathy and compassion. During my years working in the corporate world, I always felt that these qualities weren’t particularly valued or appreciated. I wanted to make a contribution to the world in which I could use positivity and kindness to be successful. I started Western Tails in 2017 and as my business grows, kindness and positivism continue to be the foundation.
I live in Central Austin with my boyfriend, Brett, and our beloved rescue boxer, Nova. I spent several years living in California, but nothing beats the feeling that Austin gives me. The warm, friendly and fun vibes of this city are what make it so great. In my spare time I enjoy hiking and running the trails, reading recipes and cooking, painting, gardening, stargazing and working out. I’m a believer of always trying to improve yourself and that education should never stop. I love reading and especially love reading about animal behavior and veterinary care.
